What it is & how it works
FRAXIS is a type of laser that makes thousands of tiny, controlled “micro-injuries” in the skin. These trigger your body to heal itself, producing new collagen and elastin. Over time, this helps smooth fine lines, improve skin texture, and even out skin tone.
What to expect afterwards (timeline)
- Day 0–1: Skin feels hot, tight, and red (like sunburn).
- Day 2–3: Swelling and redness peak; tiny brown dots (“microscopic scabs”) form.
- Day 4–7: Scabs naturally shed, revealing pink fresh skin.
- Weeks 1–4: Skin tone evens out; texture improves gradually.
- Months 2–6: Collagen rebuild continues — results improve over time.
When you’ll see improvement
Some people notice fresher-looking skin within 1–2 weeks, but the biggest changes appear 2–6 months later as collagen grows.
Aftercare instructions
- Keep skin clean and moisturised with gentle products.
- Avoid makeup until your doctor says it’s okay (usually 4–7 days).
- Strictly avoid sun — use SPF 50+ daily.
